In a joint test of summer tyres, the ADAC, ÖAMTC and TCS have all highly commended Toyo Tires Proxes Comfort.

Similar to ADAC in Germany, TCS and ÖAMTC are the largest automobile clubs in Austria and Switzerland. In the 2022 joint summer tire test, 18 tire models were compared in size 215/60 R16, a popular SUV and middle class passenger car dimension.
With good all round performances in every category, Proxes Comfort has no weaknesses, on both wet and dry roads. Good performances on fuel consumption and mileage, combined with being the quietest tire tested, ensured the Proxes Comfort lived up to its name.

The ADAC awarded the Proxes Comfoirt a rating of “Gut” rating. The highest garde awarded in 2022 and shared with just four other permium tires.

These first tests of the new Proxes Comfort tire demonstrate the advances made materials and construction which are being realised by the European R&D centre.
