On October 19th, the fifth round of the NLS (VLN) series, the 55th Adenauer ADAC Rundstrecken-Trophy, unfolded at the iconic Nürburgring. Team Toyo Tires with Ring Racing, delivered a standout performance, successfully extending its lead in the drivers' standings. This dominant display secured them the SP10 class championship ahead of schedule, solidifying their place at the top of the competition.

Team Toyo Tires with Ring Racing fielded two Toyota Supra GT4s in the latest round of the NLS series. Despite challenging weather conditions and heavy traffic on the Nürburgring track, both cars successfully crossed the finish line in the fifth NLS race. In an impressive display of teamwork and skill, the car numbered 170 claimed first place, while the number 171 car secured second place in the SP10 class.

The drivers of the car with number 170—Andreas Gülden, Tim Sandtler, and Marc Hennerici—have now extended their lead to 39 points in the championship standings. With this commanding lead, the Toyo Tires with Ring Racing team has officially clinched the SP10 class championship, even with one race remaining in the NLS series.

But it wasn’t just the drivers who gave their all in this year’s racing series – the Toyo Tires brand tyres also played a crucial role in the success of the Toyo Tires with Ring Racing team at every race. Toyo Tires developed a specialised slick tire for the NLS and the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring, using a range of sustainable raw materials. This newly developed racing tyre was rigorously tested under extreme conditions on the Nürburgring track and has been a key factor in the team's outstanding performance.

The final race of the NLS season, where the innovative Toyo Tires racing tire will once again be put to the test, is set to take place on November 16th at the Nürburgring.
