Toyo Tires annouces they will become the title sponsor of the DRX from 2017 onwards.

For the next two years, the championship will be known as "Deutsche Rallycross Meisterschaft powered by Toyo Tires". A prize fund is also introduced for all competitors using TOYO TIRES. Tire choice remains open but anyone winning a class at one of the DRX rounds using TOYO TIRES, will win a cash prize.

Rallycross has been enjoying increasing visibility and participation over the last few years thanks to the successful work of the promotor. The DMSB, recognising this solid foundation, has extended their agreement with Rallycross TV for two more years and during this time, Toyo Tires will be the title sponsor.

To support the teams, a prizefund has been established for winners of every class in each tround. While tire choice remains open for all classes, competitors who chose to use TOYO TIRES, will be rewarded with cash prizes when they win their class at any of the rounds in 2017.

Toyo Tires new cooperation with the racing series creates new possibilities for Rallycross nationally, enhancing the status of the DRX. With this support, continued growth of the championship is anticipated during the next two years.
