The Italian Rallycross championship is contested over 6 rounds, commencing on April 21 at Maggiora Offroad Arena. The championship shares one round with the Austrian Championship which takes place at the Wachauring in Austria. During the partnership, Toyo Tires will become a familiar presence at both the circuits and in published media as they develop the co-operation.

Fabio Merli, Managing Director of Toyo Tire Italia, welcomed the partnership stating “Through our Japanese technology, Toyo Tires has established a strong reputation for performance and quality in Italy. The partnership with Rallycross Italia strengthens this position by associating our brand with the highly skilled and technically demanding nature of the championship.”

Senior European Marketing Manager, Mike Rignall also hailed the new partnership with the Italian championship saying” This latest collaboration brings to five the number of Rallycross championships we are partners with in Europe. We have working closely with the drivers across these championships to learn what they need in order to develop tires for both racing and the road.”

The connection with Rallycross Italia is the latest in a program of partnerships in Rallycross, throughout Europe.
