The expression "Berlin" means "place at the swamp". From 31 August to 1 September, the Berlin-Brandenburg region will make its name its programme when Tough Mudder takes place. As an official partner, Toyo Tires presents an obstacle on the course and provides plenty of fun and action along the track and in the Mudder Village.

The Tough Mudder obstacle courses are something like the rallycross championships but without motorisation. Especially in Berlin-Brandenburg you can compare directly. This year, the course takes place around the Lausitzring, known as the track of the German Rallycross.

Team spirit, endurance and determination are all that matters in the Tough Mudder competition series when participants try to get to the finish line through tons of mud and extreme obstacles.

Toyo stands for  these values, which is why the tire manufacturer became a partner of Tough Mudder in Germany as early as 2018. Over 3 million "mudders" have taken part in the challenge since the invention in 2010. In addition to the support in Germany, Toyo also accompanies the events in Great Britain and Italy.

In Germany, the track at the Lausitzring attracts thousands of participants with 10 new or further developed obstacles. On 14 to 16 kilometres, the participants have to overcome 25 hurdles in the longest run, more than last year. One of them is Toyo Tires: "Overtired" will be the 18th obstacle, but this year only the classic runners have to overcome it. Mud, water, ice and electricity stand between them and the finish line as well.

At the booth of Toyo Tires, a lot of fun and action with the DJ-tower, the hamster wheel as well as the Tire-Flip are ensured. Here they can also get information about Toyo and tires with outstanding characteristics for any terrain and any weather.
