Vildósola Sr. and Toyo Tires win class at the SCORE Baja 500

The SCORE Baja 500 took place in Ensenada, Baja California in Mexico from 29 May to 2 June. Around 254 racing teams lined up at the start of the 777.26 km long and challenging course. However, only 169 teams crossed the finish line. Among them were Gustavo Vildósola, his son Tavo Vildósola, Bryce Menzies, Christopher Polvoorde and Justin Davis, who all relied on the Toyo Tires Open Country M/T-R, a racing version of Open Country M/T.

With a time of 9 hours, 27 minutes and 49 seconds, Gustavo Vildósola easily set the fifth-fastest overall time and won the SCORE Trophy Legends class on Toyo Tires for the tenth time in a row. Justin Davis was also able to keep up the pace with his faultless drive and the Open Country M/T-R, taking victory in the TT Spec class.

But Tavo Vildósola, Bryce Menzies and Christopher Polvoorde also achieved good results on Toyo Tires Open Country M/T-R at the 56th SCORE Baja 500 and took 2nd, 3rd and 4th place in the overall result. In the championship points race of the SCORE World Desert Championships, Tavo Vildósola, Bryce Menzies und Christopher Polvoorde are in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the SCORE Trophy Truck class at the half time of the season.
