TOYO TIRES aims for overall NLS victory
3/17/2026
Proven driver lineup to compete in the top SP9 class in 2026 – 24-hour race firmly planned
The Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) kicks off the 2026 season with the 71st ADAC Westfalenfahrt on March 14. Including the two ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers, there are ten dates on the NLS calendar until mid-October. Fans will not have to do without the TOYO TIRES with Ring Racing team this year either. With its presence in the top SP9 class, racing at the highest level can be expected.
The PROXES series racing tires, specially developed for the Nordschleife, will be put to the test: The Nürburgring is considered one of the toughest race tracks in the world. With an elevation difference of around 300 meters and more than 170 corners, the track is the ideal stage to push the tires to their limits. The racing tires also contain a proportion of sustainable materials. The PROXES tires thus prove that ecology and performance can go hand in hand even under the toughest conditions. The highlight will once again be participation in the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring from May 14 to 17.
Last year, TOYO TIRES with Ring Racing achieved an overall result within the top 10 in the SP-PRO class of the NLS. This season, the team is building on its previous experience to compete in the top SP9 class – with the aim of winning the class and, beyond that, the overall victory.
In addition to Yuichi Nakayama, PROXES brand ambassador and driver for Team TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, the drivers who competed in the SP-PRO class last season will also be back on the grid for this race. In the SP10 class, TOYO TIRES is also relying on promising young drivers who have already proven themselves in national GT racing series.
