TOYO TIRES will compete on Saturday, 1 August, in the seventh round of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, “NLS7”, under the entry name “TOYO TIRES with Ring Racing”.

On the legendary Nordschleife, the team will field two cars in the SP9 and VT2-RWD classes, once again running on specially developed PROXES racing tyres.

In the top SP9 category, a Mercedes-AMG GT3 will be driven by Yuichi Nakayama, PROXES brand ambassador and TOYOTA GAZOO Racing driver, alongside Andreas Gülden and Tim Sandtler. Following the team’s best result of the season so far in the previous race, TOYO TIRES is aiming to continue its positive momentum and further establish itself among the front runners.

TOYO TIRES will also be represented in the VT2-RWD class: company driver Takuma Miyazono and Jin Horino will compete in a Toyota Supra. After finishing second in class at the previous NLS6 round, the duo will be targeting another podium result.

The PROXES racing tyres used for the event have been further developed compared with last year. Insights and data gathered from the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring feed directly into the set-up, helping meet the specific demands of this challenging circuit.
