Toyo Tires is supporting the internatioal Expo Belgrade 2027
10/27/2026
TOYO TIRE Corporation (Head Office: Itami, Hyogo Prefecture; President: Takashi Shimizu) announces its support for the “International Expo Belgrade 2027,” to be held from May 15 to August 15, 2027, in Belgrade, the capital of the Republic of Serbia, as well as for the “Japan Pavilion at Expo Belgrade.”
International Expo Belgrade 2027 will be the first international exposition held in the Western Balkans. More than 140 countries and regions from around the world are expected to participate. The Expo is intended to serve as a platform for promoting international exchange and showcasing a wide range of initiatives for future generations.
Our company supports the objectives of International Expo Belgrade 2027 and will participate as a Gold Partner. We will also provide e-carts as an in-kind contribution. A total of 41 vehicles are planned and 14-passenger models, wheelchair-accessible versions, and vehicles for emergency transport. They will be used to transport people around the Expo site. The vehicle wraps are based on blue, TOYO TIRE’s corporate color, combined with the colors of the Expo’s concept design. This allows the vehicles to blend harmoniously into the vibrant visual identity of the event venue.
We are also supporting the Japan Pavilion at Expo Belgrade. During the Expo, a “TOYO TIRE WEEK” is planned, featuring our own presentation through which we will bring to life, in our own way, the pavilion’s theme: “Playing Together – Connecting – Japan’s Playful Spirit.”
In 2022, our company opened its first European tire production facility in Inđija, near Belgrade; a sales company was also established there in 2025. A European R&D center is scheduled to open on the plant site in 2027. This will bring together production, sales, and research and development functions at a single location. As part of our business expansion in the European market, we regard Serbia as an important strategic base and will continue to develop our activities there.
Through this engagement, we aim to contribute to the development of the Republic of Serbia, promote exchange with Japan and the wider world, and help make the Expo a success.
