AMTS - Highspeed Meets Offroad in Budapest

3/17/2026

TOYO TIRES on Display at the 20th Auto, Motor & Tuning Show from 13 to 15 March 2026

It is a weekend of fast cars: parallel to the season opener of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), TOYO TIRES will once again be present at UNIX AMTS in Hungary this year. Together with its Hungarian partner AKH (Gumi.hu), the tyre manufacturer will be exhibiting from 13 to 15 March on around 300 m² at the HUNGEXPO fairground in Budapest. The Auto, Motor & Tuning Show 2026 celebrates its 20th edition with countless highlights; more than 1,200 vehicles will be on display – including the strikingly staged booth of AKH (Gumi.hu) in the typical TOYO TIRES look.

Among the “fast exhibits” at the joint stand is a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet branded as a lottery car and fitted with PROXES Sport 2. This ultra-high-performance tyre for passenger cars and SUVs features an asymmetric tread pattern and was developed specifically for high-powered vehicles. It delivers precise handling, high stability even in fast corners and a direct steering response – ideal for drivers with a sporty ambition.

Another real eye-catcher is a never-before-seen RWB sibling pair – Nintai and Kabuto. These two spectacularly modified vehicles from Japanese tuning house Rauh-Welt Begriff run on TOYO TIRES PROXES R888R in sizes 265/35 R18 and 335/30 R18. This semi-slick-oriented UHP tyre has been engineered for maximum performance on dry tarmac and underlines the motorsport DNA of the TOYO TIRES brand. Last year, a spectacular RWB Porsche was also on display at the stand, generating a great deal of excitement.

The equally dazzling other side of the coin is represented by two offroad adventure vehicles: a more than 20-year-old but virtually brand-new Nissan Patrol/Safari from Japan with 0 kilometres on the clock, and a rare Ineos Grenadier. Both vehicles are equipped with the all-terrain tyre TOYO TIRES OPEN COUNTRY A/T III in size 265/70 R17. The tyre combines robust traction off the beaten track with convincing on-road performance.
