Audi TT and TTS Original Equipment

Proxes T1 Sport tires chosen by Audi AG for TT and TTS models.

Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. Osaka, Japan (President and CEO Kenji Nakakura), announces that Toyo Proxes T1 Sport (AO) tires have been chosen by AUDI AG to be fitted to their TT and TTS models.

The new 255/35 R 19 96Y Proxes T1 Sport will be one of a select few makes of tires fitted to TT models specified with optional 19 inch wheels. However, the same tire will be the exclusive fitment to all Audi TTS models specified with 19 inch wheels.

With improved handling, braking and cornering, the new Proxes T1 Sport meets the needs of Audi for a high performance tire matched to the dynamic and safe driving characteristics of the car.

Proxes T1 Sport will be fitted to Audi TT and TTS models from April. This iconic car, fitted with TOYO TIRES, will be available worldwide in European, US and Asian markets.

TOYO TIRES continuously improves its technology, focusing its new product development to exceed the requirements of the World’s most demanding carmakers.
