Overall race win for Toyo Tires trophy truck
Eric Vigouroux and co-pilot Alex Winoqc have won the 2012 Oilibya Rally of Morocco. Their Trophy Truck, shod with 37x13.5 R17, Open Country M/TR tires beat Novitsky in his 4 wheel drive Mini by 17 minutes and 43 seconds.
After six days and nearly 2.000 km, victory for the two wheel drive truck against the best teams in the world gave them not only the two wheel drive class win but the overall race win. An astonishing achievement for the team whose support consisted of just two mechanics.
Eric and Alex have now set their sights on the upcoming Dakar 2013. With Morocco the last scheduled outing for the Trophy Truck there is a lot to do to be ready.
