Osaka, Japan – August 5, 2016 - Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. (head office, Osaka; Takashi Shimizu, president) announced it has produced a video in support of the company-sponsored Leicester City Football Club, professional football club to kick off the start of England's Premier League 2016/2017 season this August. In last year’s 2015/2016 season, the club won its first Premier League championship since the team was founded in 1884. The city of Leicester caused a stir when some 240,000 club supporters out of a total population of 300,000 gathered for the team's victory parade.

With the start of a new season, Toyo Tires will be alongside supporting the club as an official Leicester sponsor. To kick off this season’s campaign, Toyo Tires produced a video titled [Leicester City Football Club – “Surprise again”] in support of the team with a theme of "Surprise Again," which expressing the hope that the Leicester city streets will once again be overflowing with the joy of victory.
This video showcases the aspirations of the manager and players as they eagerly await the start of the season burning with the fighting spirit of challengers refusing to rest on the laurels of last year's league triumph.
 

Leicester’s insatiable energy and spirit of challenge meshes with the worldview of the Toyo Tires brand, which prompted the company to conclude a sponsorship agreement with the club for a third season.
