Proxes CF2, the new Toyo summer tire launched this year, has been awarded 'Recommended' status by Auto Motor und Sport. The new tire has been impressing testers as soon as it became available. This latest recommendation adds to the "Good" rating already awarded by Gute Fahrt magazine.

Using a VW Golf fitted with 205/55 R16 V rated tires, Auto Motor und Sport tested 13 different products. All the tires tested are regarded as premium by their makers. No low cost Chinese imported tires were tested so the test was a true 'heavyweight' contest. Proxes CF2 demonstrated its prowess against the leading brands, balancing all tested performances at a good level while excelling in ride comfort.

Proxes CF2 uses new generation materials, a revised structure and innovative tread pattern design to guarantee high levels of safety, mileage, fuel economy and comfort.

Proxes CF2 boasts improved wet grip and fuel consumption over its predecessor whilst still achieving the lowest noise level of all the tires in the Auto Motor und Sport test.
