Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. (President: Takashi Shimizu) annouces that they have commenced a two season Platimum Partnership with Japan Professional Football League club Gamba Osaka.

Gamba Osaka, is one of the 10 founding clubs from the formation of the J-League in 1993. The team have won the J1 league title in 2005 and were Asian Football Confedertion, Champions League winners in 2008.  In Domestic competition, 2014 saw them take the Triple Crown, with victorry in the J1 league, Emperor's Cup and Nabisco Cup. 

This sponsorship is another step in Toyo Tires new global brand philosophy of "Surprising the World". The ability to go beyond the expected with technical capabilities, creativity  and innovation, made the decision to sponsor Gamba Osaka a good fit for the brand.

Gamba Osaka, with their attitude of challenging the opposition and aiming for the top, overlaps neatly with the ambition of Toyo Tires to "Surprise the World"

Players shorts will bear the Toyo Tires logo giving strong brand presence for Toyo Tires at all games in the J1. Gamba also move to a new home ground next season, Suita City Football Stadium, which, with a capacity of 40.000, nearly doubles their audience.
