Tough, tougher, Toyo
16 Jul 2019
It started in 2010 as a crazy idea of two Brits. Today it is a worldwide movement: Tough Mudder is more than a race, more than a showdown. "Tough Mudder is a competition that clearly focuses on team spirit," says Mike Rignall, Senior Marketing Manager Toyo Tires Europe. The Japanese tire manufacturer started 2018 as a partner of Tough Mudder Germany and UK. Since this year, Toyo Tires has extended its partnership to other Tough Mudder countries in Europe.
On July 27th and 28th, Yorkshire becomes the Mudder Village: participants on the three different tracks (5 miles, up to 13 miles and 10 miles) face the almost insurmountable obstacles and their own limits. Those who still have power, can conquer the infamous Hamster-Wheel of Toyo Tires in the Mudder-Village. Toyo Tires is a partner of Tough Mudder in several European countries and also inspires the participants in Yorkshire with the DJ Tower in the Mudder Village and one obstacle of the extra class.

If you haven't been there before, register now for the event in Yorkshire: By the way, this is possible regardless of age. In contrast to Tough Mudder races in other European countries, Yorkshire is an event for the whole family thanks to the special Mini Mudder. Kids from the age of 5 can already complete their first Mudder run on the special children's course and thus join the Mudder family at a very early age.
