Toyo Tires at Essen Motor Show 2018

Essen Motorshow will showcase Toyo Tires range of UHP and sports tires. Ther exhibition will be the world premiere for the new Proxes TR1 as well as European premier of Proxes STIII SUV and Proxes R888RT, the new FIA homologated Tarmac Rally tire.

Hyogo, Japan – November 16, 2018 – Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Itami City, Hyogo Prefecture; President: Takashi Shimizu) will exhibit an enhanced TOYO TIRES global booth at the Essen Motor Show, Germany, from November 30 to December 9.

Following design cues from TOYO TIRES participation at Tokyo Auto Salon, the enlarged TOYO TIRES Essen booth will present a range of European products including three new tires. The products will be showcased on unique cars, some of which have never before been displayed in Europe. The global booth will feature animations, giveaways and special guests throughout the ten days of the show.

A world debut for the new street sport tire “PROXES TR1,” commences with a press conference at 14:00 on November 30.  This new product, the latest addition to the TOYO TIRES Global Flagship Brand series, “PROXES”, goes on sale in Europe from Spring 2019.
 
The TOYO TIRES booth will be displaying a unique selection of tuning cars including Ken Block’s WRX car, the Ford Fiesta RX43. Joining this, will be one of the winning cars in the SUV category at the Tokyo Auto Salon Costume Car Contest 2018, the Pandem Ford F-150 Raptor which runs on OPEN COUNTRY M/T.

World-famous professional rally and rallycross driver, Ken Block, will be signing autographs and giving away free merchandise from the TOYO TIRES booth on December 4 and 5.
