Toyo Tires will be presenting a new tyre at the 29th edition of Autopromotec in Bologna: the new Proxes Sport 2 as successor of the previous bestselling model.
Furthermore, Toyo Tires is opening a new tire plant in Serbia in 2022 which will start producing tires from July 2022. It has a capacity of 5 million pieces per year initially. The Serbian factory will be the 8th manufacturing base of Toyo Tires.
Its location in Serbia gives tariff free access to a wide range of markets and marks the first step in the drive to realize the company's global growth strategy. In collaboration with the European R&D Center, which was opened in November 2019, Toyo Tires will reinforce its competitiveness and engineering prowess.

At the ground breaking ceremony in December 2020, Takashi Shimizu, President of Toyo Tire Corporation set out his vision saying "Many of the products produced at this plant will be designed and developed at our new R&D center in Germany. Our future goal is to produce tires created entirely in Europe."
Autopromotec exhibition, one of the largest international trade fairs for workshop equipment and the automotive/commercial vehicle aftermarket, presents numerous new products in the industry. From tyres to service products to workshop equipment and spare parts; the manufacturers and brands represented at Autopromotec are diverse.
Nearly 120,000 trade visitors from 136 countries and over 1,600 companies shared the latest industry developments at the last edition of the trade fair in 2019. Once more, renowned companies and numerous technological innovations are expected. The Toyo Tires team is pleased to be part of Autopromotec again this year.
